The 5 things successful people do before 7 AM"这类千篇一律的帖子。 Like and share!"——典型的AI内容农场模板。

On July 30, LinkedIn quietly added a new reporting option: "Looks like AI slop." Users can report posts they believe are mass-produced AI content with no personal perspective. Reported content may face reduced reach or removal after review.
This is the first time a major social platform has created a dedicated category for AI-generated spam. More intriguingly, LinkedIn simultaneously demoted its own AI writing assistant from "writing assistant" to "proofreading tool" — the platform itself no longer encourages users to write entire posts with AI.
How Bad Is AI Slop on LinkedIn
Anyone who's scrolled LinkedIn in the past year knows the pattern: cookie-cutter posts like "The 5 things successful people do before 7 AM" with counterintuitive hooks, numbered bullet points, and "Agree? Like and share!" closings — classic AI content farm templates.
This content looks legitimate but contains zero real experience, zero real thinking, zero real personality.
"When a professional network needs a dedicated 'Report AI slop' button, it's the most ironic footnote to a year of AI content flooding. That '10 Career Tips' post you wrote with GPT? LinkedIn sees it as spam."—— The Dawn Vision Editorial Desk
Signals for AI Content Creators
Platforms distinguish 'AI-assisted' from 'AI-replaces-you.' Polishing with AI is fine; letting AI write the whole thing and hitting publish gets no distribution.
Authentic personality is the moat. In an era where AI can generate everything, the scarcest resource is "you as a specific person."
Every platform will follow. LinkedIn is first, but won't be last.
See you tomorrow.
