直驱关节:从零部件到整机的护城河

本末科技的核心竞争力藏在关节里。2020年成立时,公司选择了反主流路线:主打一体化直驱关节,不做减速器。

Direct-Drive Joints: The Moat from Components to Whole Machines

Benmo Tech's core competitiveness is hidden in its joints. Founded in 2020, the company took a counter-mainstream approach: focusing on integrated direct-drive joints, no reducers.

Traditional motors have high speed and low torque, requiring reducers to lower speed and amplify torque — just like a fuel car needs a transmission. But reducers add extra loss, noise and lifespan degradation. These issues are tolerable in industrial settings, but for a home robot, a vacuum cleaner that clatters all day and breaks in a few years simply won't sell.

By removing the reducer, Benmo's joints become smaller, quieter, and last 50,000 to 100,000 hours.
